We offer competitive, recreational and professional cheerleading programs. We also offer recreational & competitive dance and tumbling! COMPETITIVE ALL-STAR CHEERLEADING:We are proud to offer competitive teams for ages 4 to adult at every skill level! Our teams are not only divided by age but also by skill level. Whether your athlete is a novice or an elite veteran, there is a competitive team for them with the Niagara All-Stars. Watch for the Ice Girls at regional events, parades & the Niagara Ice Dog games.Since February of 2008 we have been the Official Promotional Cheer & Dance Team of the Niagara Ice Dogs We are proud of our association with the area's only OHL team. You will find the Niagara Ice Girls at every Thursday night home game as well as a few Saturday night special event games.We periodically have auditions for this select group of outstanding dancers/cheerleaders. You must be a dynamic 18 to 24 year old, have a professional appearance with great people skills! You will be performing for more than 2000 people at each game and when attending some functions! If you are interested in becoming a Niagara Ice Girl please contact us. We will gladly put you on our mailing list, to be notified of the next try out date. NIAGARA "SPEARS" CHEERLEADING

Registrations are held in the Spring.Contact us for more information and to be added to our email list. We offer 3 cheerleading teams Peewee, Junior & Senior.The Niagara "Spears" Cheerleaders are an integral part of the Niagara Spears Organization and the entertainment during home games and some away games. When not cheering for the boys on the playing field, members of the Spears Cheerleading teams serve as goodwill ambassadors for the Spears Organization by participating in various community events throughout the Niagara Region. In previous seasons, the girls have performed at Football Niagara Days, the Special Olympics, Fit for the Future Expo and numerous parades. The Niagara Spears Cheerleaders are the premier cheerleading squad in the Ontario Varsity Football League. Multiple-Time National Champions, Amanda and Jo-Anne DAmboise, owners of the Niagara Cheerleading program are the head coaches and program directors. They serve as executive consultants on cheerleading to the OVFL and assist in forming new cheerleading teams in the league within the province. They have brought their expertise and emphasis on crowd appeal to the Niagara Spears organization since its inception in 2004. 2011 marks their seventh season with the Spears.

Here are just a few highlights of our journey:2004-2005: Niagara Cheerleading is created as a recreational, summer program that cheers for the Niagara Spears football teams.2005-2006: The Niagara Spears program grows to include athletes from 14 area high schools.2006-2007: The Niagara All-Star program is created to offer athletes an alternative to their scholastic cheerleading programs. The original team features just 16 athletes.2007-2008: The Niagara All-Stars grows to two teams and 45 athletes. The highlight of the season was winning a bid and being representatives of Canada at the 2008 World Cheerleading Championships. 2008-2009: What a year! The Niagara Cheerleading program moves into its own stand-alone facility in St. Catharines. The program expands to 7 All-Star cheerleading teams for ages 3 and up. The Niagara All-Stars also compete the first Pom Dance team in Canada! The season completes with 3 US National Championships, a Canadian National Championship & an Ontario Provincial Championship.2009-2010: This was the largest season yet - 200+ members joined us in the pink and black! This season featured an expansion to 12 competitive cheerleading and dance teams, ranging from the introductory to elite levels. Niagara All-Star teams travelled acrossCanada and the US competing against the best teams in North America. More 1st place titles were won this season than any other - this truly was the "Evolution of Pink". We stand amazed as we've seen our program grow! We also know the best is yet to come!
